Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem,
and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished,
that her iniquity is pardoned.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness;
prepare ye the way of the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

以賽亞書 40:1 你們的神說，你們要安慰，安慰我的百姓。
40:2 要對耶路撒冷說安慰的話，又向他宣告說，他爭戰的日子已滿了，他的罪孽赦免了，他為自己的一切罪，從耶和華手中加倍受罰。

Thus saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts:
Yet once a little while and I will shake the heavens
and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
And I will shake all nations;
and the desire of all nations shall come.
The Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple,
even the messenger of the Covenant, whom you delight in;
behold, He shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

哈該書2:6 萬軍之耶和華如此說，過不多時，我必再一次震動天地，滄海，與旱地。

get thee up into the high mountain.
O thou that tellest good tidings to Jerusalem,
lift up thy voice with strength;
lift it up, be not afraid;
say unto the cities of Judah, behold your god!
Arise, shine, for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

以賽亞書 40:9 報好信息給錫安的啊，你要登上高山。報好信息給耶路撒冷的啊，你要極力揚聲。揚聲不要懼怕，對猶大的城邑說，看哪，你們的神。

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon thee,
and His glory shall be seen upon thee.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light;
and they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death,
upon them hath the light shined.

Surely He hath borne our griefs,

and carried our sorrows!
He was wounded for our transgressions,

以賽亞書 53:4 他誠然擔當我們的憂患，背負我們的痛苦。我們卻以為他受責罰，被神擊打苦待了。

哥林多前書 15:20 但基督已經從死裏復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。

哥林多前書 15:21 死既是因一人而來，死人復活也是因一人而來。
